A man sitting on a wooden bench in a forest during fall, with a large fluffy dog sitting beside him. The man has a beard, is wearing a plaid shirt, a green scarf, khaki pants, hiking shoes, and a brown cap. There are camping or hiking items on the ground nearby, including a water bottle, a wooden box, and some cups, with yellow and brown fallen leaves scattered around.

Meet Dr. Taylor Donovan

→ Facilitating a lifelong conversation with the human body.

For more than 20 years, I've had the privilege of caring for individuals and families, from newborns to people over 100, including families spanning four generations.

I think of myself as a tour guide to the remarkable city we call the human body.

My approach brings together hands-on chiropractic care, functional anatomy, movement, nutrition, and practical guidance to help you better understand your body and navigate life's changes.

At the heart of my work is adaptive capacity — your body's ability to respond to stress, change, and the unexpected.

After many years practicing in Reno, I'm grateful to now serve the Nevada City community and surrounding Nevada County.

My hope is simple: to help you become a wise friend to your body, care for your vitality, and move through life with greater ease.

⸻ MY APPROACH ⸻

Chiropractic care that meets you where you are.

Understanding the Terrain

I like to start with where you are, what life looks like right now, and what your body may be trying to tell you.

Finding a Few Traction Points

Sometimes a stretch, a movement, a breath, or a small shift in daily life is enough to change the terrain. More isn’t always better.

Building Adaptive Capacity

Life keeps changing, and so does the body. The work is learning how to respond, adapt, and support yourself through each season.

Becoming a Wise Friend to Your Body

This body is on loan to us while we’re here. My hope is to help you steward your vitality so it can keep supporting the life you want to live.
